By trace the village route you would see many things! The chilly watergate, composed wet rice field, farmer and their two wheeled buggy. So many things!

To go trough Kaliurang Village Route, you have to go to Monjali (Monumen Jogja Kembali) Street first by go along side northern ring road. Then try to find the small pathway on the north side of Monjali street intersection. Only then go with the flow. Just go to north direction.
Second tips, if you afraid to get lost, try to find another bicyclist. They would be happy to invite you, so you could come along with them.
And there is one more thing that make this trip gonna be a spree joyride. Every time you meet another bicyclist or just the local society, don’t forget to ring a bell. “kring kring” or just “ting ting”. So we would ring a bell each other. This is just rub the right way. Especially, if you want to overstep another bicyclist, it’s a must to ring a bell! So, you would understand why Indonesian renowned with polite behavior.
Third tips, don’t forget to put a bell on your bicycle. It would be very usefull. “Kring Kring”
Almost bicyclist would gathered at Pakem Market. Every Cycling teams would be one team here. Nothing less, nothing more. We talked about everything. Talked about bicycle spare part, bicycling experience, about work, about politic, even about your own wife. Every topics which is laughable.
You could take a rest for a while and continue the trip until Kaliurang Hill. Or you could take a rest and then directly go back home. But almost everyone take a rest for a while at Pakem Market. Take a rest for a hot tea and some other snacks. It was cheap enough.
